This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of the Institute for the Advancement of Human Behavior (IAHB) and International Society for Neurofeedback & Research (ISNR). IAHB is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Credit Designation Statement

IAHB designates this live activity for a maximum of 47.50 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Amedco maintains responsibility for the program. ASWB Approval Period: 06/24/2015 – 06/24/2016. Social workers should contact their regulatory board to determine course approval for continuing education credits.

Social workers participating in this course may receive up to 47.50 clinical continuing education clock hours.

Objectives - After attending this program you should be able to

1) Describe the basics of acceptable clinical application for at least three areas of behavior change

2) Discuss innovative methodologies for providing feedback for neuronal regulation

3) Assess the value of different approaches to training with neurofeedback

4) Describe functional areas and anomolies in specific brain regions

5) List behaviors which have been found in research to be responsive to neurofeedback

6) Apply a clinical application to new behavior problems

7) Assess clinical responses to neurofeedback and adjust protocols as needed

8) Discuss effects of neurofeedback on neurophysiology

9) Describe advantages of multi-site training

10) List uses and effects of Alpha-Stim
